Polstar presented its latest navigation systems and related technologies for cars and heavy vehicles at the Thailand International Auto Parts & Accessories Show (TAPA). The event, which had not been held for five years, is the largest auto parts exhibition in Thailand and one of the most innovative exhibitions in Asia. Thailand is currently the 12th largest car manufacturing country in the world and one of the main manufacturing countries in Southeast Asia. The exhibition attracted nearly 15,000 attendees this year, breaking historical records.

At the TAPA exhibition, Polstar showcased its latest offline navigation system for cars and heavy vehicles, which integrates with Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and Middle Eastern automotive and truck map data from three domestic and foreign map data suppliers, and it can be installed on AVN, tablets, and mobile phones. This fully demonstrated the adaptability and expandability of Polstar's Polnav navigation software with various map data suppliers and devices. Through this exhibition, Polstar gathered valuable experience and advice from international attendees and goals to provide the most applicable navigation software globally.

Polstar recently announced that its advanced navigation software is introduced into the latest model of Hyundai Motor, in order to continue to expand its market in Taiwan. This navigation software is seamlessly integrated with a 10.25-inch infotainment system, providing drivers with a more convenient and enjoyable driving experience.

The split screen feature of the infotainment system allows users to access the navigation map and other functions provided by the system simultaneously, such as streaming music, making phone calls, or obtaining auxiliary information about the navigation. When the main screen displays the navigation map and route, the split screen can provide a preview map of the next turning intersection. When users operate navigation-related settings or search for the next destination, the split screen continues to provide route guidance. Through this smart function allocation, the infotainment system provides drivers with a more convenient and non-interfering driving experience, thereby improving overall user satisfaction.

The successful introduction of the navigation software into the latest model of Hyundai Motor marks a significant milestone for Polstar in expanding their Taiwan market. Polstar launches a video to enhance smart transportation awareness

Polstar today announced the launch of a three-minute video to make it easier for the transportation industry better understanding the benefits of deploying truck navigation software onto their trucks. This motion-picture video consists of 5 portions, including the competitions between the Polstar enabled and disabled trucks, as well as the eye-catching texts and background music using movie similar technologies. 

Polstar’s truck navigation software, working together with HERE’s map data, incorporates HERE’s unique features to enhance a truck driver’s maximum experience. It enables drivers to reach destinations safely and securely by avoiding narrower roads and lower entrances, bringing an enjoyable driving experience under the constraints of traffic rules. By enabling routings and re-routings within the practical environment, drivers can boost efficiency by reducing the fuel consumption as well as time and other costs that they have to take in order to complete their shipping.

Better Visualization and More Informative for Automobile Drivers

The KIA infotainment is highlighted by the wide horizontal screen, emphasizing the width and the 1920*720 resolution. This screen makes it possible to allow the driver’s option to display a wider area navigation map or to present different information on two separate screens. While the main screen displays the navigation map the minor screen serves as a reminder of the next turn. Likewise, these two screens may display the menu pages and the map page simultaneously.

Easier Map Updates and More User Friendly Interfaces

Polstar introduces a feature on this KIA infotainment that allows automobile owners to wirelessly update all the map files and upgrade the navigation engine using a more intuitive procedure. URX’s most wonderful results in GPS navigation delivered by Polstar

That’s why Polstar and Luxgen had an occassion to have an immediate engagement.

Within only two months, an extremely short period of time for the optimization of a complicated in-dash navigation system, an entirely new system arises, with totally different properties and qualities. Volkswagen and HTC Launched Customer-Link that Polnav Supports

Customer-Link, combined with cloud database and software development technology, integrates vehicle information into the software to provide users real-time traffic information and driving data, including total mileage, fuel consumption, engine rpm., tire pressure, oil temperature, water temperature, remaining distance, and so on.
